Yup. Relay weekend is here. Everyone is eager to start running.

Van1 left last night to Santa Rosa. Early wakeup to report at the start line @ Calistoga.

Wish everyone a happy new year

Hey everyone

Wish all of you a very happy new year. Hope u guys are all rested and energized, and looking forward to the next few months of training :-)

Almost all the girls on the team showed up to run today. Very encouraging to see that, shows that they are an extremely motivated lot. After the 2-3 mile run, we had 20 mins of core strengthening workout. Amit was looking for a gun half way through the workout, which might've meant the workout did have its effect.

Anjali, Amit, Apurva, Kshama, Leena, Loga, Satya, Preetu & Aanya showed up.

Hope to see more of you on the team run next weekend.

Who: Leena, Milind, Dumma, Rishon, Karthik, Yadhu, Apurva, Aanya, Preetu, Naveen

A lovely day for running. While Leena/Preetu took the 1 mile in stride. Karthik/Apurva/Yadhu did a longer run (3-4 miles perhaps?). Some core strengthening work-outs were added to the training session today. Perhaps this was harder than the run, yeah?

Don't forget to run a little extra over the next month. Its holiday season, and there is tons of food to be eaten.

Divya/Amar: I know you are on vacation, but don't forget to put in your 1-2 milers over the next few weeks :-)

Coach Dumma led the first team run. Naina/Milind/Rishon/Aanya accompanied their daddy's/mommy's, and it was real fun one miler. Looks like everyone is already getting into their groove.

Coach promises many more fun runs in the future. Stay tuned.

2010 - here we come

Welcome runners! It promises to be another great year!

For the third year in a row, our team is all set to conquer The Relay. A bunch of beginner & intermediate runners showing grit, and raising money for a cause. Looks like there is a lot of interest this year, and the most interesting part is, more girls want to run this time. Isn't that great!
